Your Membership Subscription

Please note that all membership subscriptions are due on 4 January 2025

In 2024 we increased our membership subscription rate from £8 to £10 and £14 to £18. Despite several notifications via the newsletter, many standing orders were not increased by the deadline of 4 January 2024. This resulted in many members posting cheques for the balance throughout the year. Some members did not pay the increase, so many memberships were lapsed. This involved many admin hours sending out letters, emails and updating the database. Not the outcome we wanted.

So, would all members who did not do so last year, please check that their standing orders for 2025 are set at the increased rates and, if not, increase them. Information regarding how much you paid last year will be available on your bank statement. As the committee is so small now, we are unable to spend time chasing up the correct payments again. Memberships will have to be lapsed if an underpayment is received, and the underpayment will be recorded as a donation.

A huge ‘Thank You’ to all those who did update their standing order payments as requested.

Any member who still pays by cheque or BACS, please ensure that we receive payment on time
