  • What is the Projects Group

    The Projects Group organises Social Events for the enjoyment of members, with any profits made from these activities going to the National Trust “Wish List”. This is an annual list, produced by local National Trust properties, of small items or projects that would help to improve their visitor experience. 


    In 2017, in conjunction with the Day Trips, Holidays and Walks groups, we were able to donate £7,300 to the next “Wish List”; details of recent donations can be seen here, and will also be in a future newsletter. 


    In previous years this fundraising has paid for outdoor seating at Goddards and children’s trikes and play equipment at Beningbrough, amongst many other items and improvements.

YANT Monthly Drop In Lunches from 12 noon

Peter Drew, our Tours Organiser, has arranged for these lunches to be held in the Theatre Royal’s Upper Foyer.


Please order your meal and drinks at the ground floor Café and then join us upstairs in the Upper Foyer from 12pm onwards.


The Café serves a variety of refreshments and there is no need to book in advance. We will be delighted to welcome you to enjoy lunch with friends both new and longstanding.


The lunches will be held on the third TUESDAY each month. See the Calendar for all dates.

12pm onwards - 3 courses and a glass of wine

As we went to press, we didn’t have the full menu although there will be turkey, Christmas pudding and a mince pie to finish the meal.


If you would like to join us, please complete the Booking Form which will be sent with the September Newsletter (also then available using the Button below) and we will contact you to confirm the menu nearer the time.


If you have email, it will be useful to contact you this way to confirm your menu choice. Otherwise, you will be telephoned to discuss the possible choices.


N.B. This is a training restaurant, so please do not attempt to enter until invited to do so either by a member of the catering staff or YANT Hostess. If you have any special dietary requirements please let the organiser know on the Booking Form.


Parking at the College is limited and expensive. The Coastliner and number 13 buses pass the door.
